As part of the [email protected] plans to celebrate the Royal Air Force Centenary in 2018, the Museum is conducting a condition survey which involves partly dismantling its aircraft around the site. They have started in the Battle of Britain Hall, which goes on until November, so I had a wander down to get some record shots of the dismantling. Reminiscent of war bird maintenance at Duxford with panels open and bits detached.

Since my last visit, the wings of the Hurricane, Spitfire and Me.109 have been removed so just a few record shots added.
